Technical Tip (7): Early full width rear hub access

The rear hub before the 1955 full-width one has five hexagon bolts holding the brake drum and access   to these is through the spokes.  This is fiddly and risks damage to the paint on the hub as well.Making a saw-cut across the threaded end of the bolts can make re-assembly easier. The bolts can then be quickly screwed up from inside the brake-drum with a flat-bladed screwdriver and they will only need a slight tweak with the spanner to nip up tight. Simples !!
